I didn’t have the courage to explore what was causing me to hang on to a habit that carries long term health risks, so I engaged Jordyn for private sessions. She asked the right questions with kindness and without judgment. She guided me through an introspective process. It was like shining a light on emotions and false beliefs that I had not transcended. When I met Jordyn, my life was close to breaking point, I was an absolute mess both in my personal and professional life. Everything seemed out of control with no structure or purpose. I had just had enough. We met every week, broke everything down, and started slowly rebuilding structure in my days, and we worked through my insecurities. Working with Jordyn in the Make Moves Academy has been life changing. I went into the group looking to move past blocks that had always held me back. Jordyn not only had me confront my 'demons' which led me to binge, but she also uncovered the root causes that had been derailing me for over 50 years.
She knew and broke down the very thoughts that were going through my mind as each binge came on, what was I thinking and how my mind got so good at always convincing myself to binge; how my mind painted a picture that bingeing would make everything better and take the pain of “life” away; the physical affect on my body caused by the high blood sugars of diabetes and how they would drive me to my bed for the night and send me to sleep so I didn’t have to worry about anything else; and how binge eating “conveniently” fit into my addictive behavior and eased the pain.
We confronted all of these things as well as many others. Jordyn was able to get to the CAUSE of what was making me binge and once she did, she was able to give me suggestions to reduce and eliminate these triggers. Don’t get me wrong, there is no “magic pill” or grand plan, this all took practice and many discussions.

FAQs
HOW DOES THE MEMBERSHIP WORK?
MM Academy is an annual membership for the purpose of facilitating deep, transformative inner work. You can choose to pay monthly or annually; this is so that we can accommodate any budget. Our goal at Make Moves is to not only provide an incredible community that feels like family, but also over-deliver in every single way when it comes to benefits of being a member. All of the course content, community and live weekly calls are accessed on the within the Academy Platform. You will have access to everything so long as you maintain your annual/monthly membership.
There are only 2 types of membership which acts as an All-Access pass, with opportunities for Group Coaching and 1:1 Support with one of our specialized coaches. For any questions about MM Academy, please contact [email protected]
HOW CAN I ACCESS ONE OF YOUR COURSES?
You can access some courses individually, or all courses as a Make Moves Academy member.
WHEN ARE YOUR LIVE WEEKLY CALLS?
We have Live Integration Group Calls every week on Tuesdays at 4:30pm PST. These are live calls facilitated by Jordyn, and will always start with community celebrations & acknowledgements, followed by a deep integration lesson and Q&A. Shares are always encouraged, but are not mandatory. This is a safe, trauma-informed space.
If you cannot attend the call live, you can submit questions beforehand and watch the replays in the replay section of the platform.
CAN I TAKE MORE THAN ONE COURSE AT A TIME?
You can, however it is not ideal. The courses in MM Academy are comprehensive self-study courses that require consistent self-awareness, journaling, and application of concepts. The content within each course is released once the previous lesson is completed to encourage that the courses are taken appropriately to ensure the work needed for deep transformation is completed. I would suggest no rushing or skipping ahead. The courses can be paced as slowly as the student desires, but the most appropriate timeframe to complete the full curriculum is 1 Year.
